| Hmmmm...been in the house nearly 2 years now. Because all the good plants are available in the Spring/early Summer, I took a break from the boat and planted approximately 50 plants (mostly in the front yard) and 6 trees. In the back, you can see the fence we just finished building too. I'll put in a nice octagon deck where you see the green boat right now (next Spring). And one of those two bushes by the curve in the lawn edge (lower center of picture) is a grape vine. A grape arbor will be put in near there (this year), and to the right of that area where the edge of the lawn is a straight line, I'll be putting in raised gardens (this year.) And then of course, the whole place needs bark dust. The never ending task...yards, hmmmph! |
| Another reason for the 'big station break' was to finish up storage projects and to make room for building something LARGE in the shop (aka garage). This 9x12 shed is still not finished, but getting close, eh? I need to finish painting, add gutters and drainage and hang those doors before someone steals all my stuff... |

In order to build a big boat, you need a big room. My garage-turned-boat shop was getting pretty cluttered, needed additional shelving, and I needed to finish the attic storage (fully insulated, drop-down ladder, lighting) too. You can see the epoxy cart I just finished making and the Michael Engineering Sticky Stuff Dispenser on it. In the back is my broken tablesaw... |
| Here you can see the third-car garage-turned-workshop. This entire garage was full of 'stuff'. After all this time, I had never finished moving in. I had to sort through and store all that stuff, build storage shelves, build a 4x8 wood storage area (back right) near the compressor, build a workbench, etc. etc. On the floor along the left wall, you can see the lumber and casters for the building jig. Ok! Enough of this stuff! Let's get back to boat building. All is ready and I've made lots of room... |
