The Rockport

(Click for full-screen image) The 'Rockport', shown at 26', carries a light lobsterboat style house yet still has a nearly queen-sized cuddy cabin f'w'd. This version of the Great Alaskan 26 is modeled after the popular downeast lobsterboats of Maine and was in fact, named after Rockport, Maine. This version is the lightest and has over 10' of work deck aft. The pilot house shown is open on the starboard side for single-handed pot retrieval, but can just as easily be built with solid sides for those that prefer. More Information
